Young Lives vs Cancer help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. Make a donation and show your support today. 

  • £15 could go towards a grant to cover travel costs for long journeys to live saving treatment 
  • £23 could pay for an hour with a Young Lives vs Cancer Specialist Social Worker. They help families understand and cope with the emotional, practical and financial effects of cancer. 
  • £60 could pay for a night in a Young Lives vs Cancer Homes from Home, a free place for families to stay close to specialist hospitals when their child is going through treatment, keeping families together

Dylan is taking on the Kids Spring Challenge 2025 to raise money for Young Lives Vs Cancer.. so please feel free to share / donate and support Dylan. 

As some of you may be aware, Dylan was diagnosed with a rare type of cancer in July 2020 that only affects around 70 children in the uk annually. He had to undergo surgery at the age of 18 months old. He had to have A Bone scan, brain scan, CT, MRI, numerous Covid swabs, numerous bloods and many more. After the tumour was removed and all the scans and bloods were complete his AFP level ( Alpha Feta Protein ) levels went from a very high 990+ down to a healthy 10 which is where these levels need to be.. 

Now 5 years down the line, Dylan is now 6. After 30+ X-rays and 30+ ultrasounds Dylan continues to keep his AFP levels down and scans are all clear, So Dylan will be fully out of remission by the time he turns 7.! Dylan is such a brave, strong,. Resilient, loving child with the biggest heart. He sees other children in hospital who aren’t as lucky as him and unfortunately have to undergo chemotherapy or sometimes worse. 
So Dylan has decided to take on the challenge of Running / walking / scooting / swimming a mile everyday for 2 weeks between 7-21st April to raise money for Young lives Vs cancer.
