We're taking on the Kid's Spring Challenge for Young Lives vs Cancer.

Want to join us in supporting a good cause? We're taking on the Kid's Spring Challenge for Young Lives vs Cancer and your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate £5 or £500. Every little bit helps. Thank you for your support.

Young Lives vs Cancer help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. Make a donation and show your support today. 

  • £15 could go towards a grant to cover travel costs for long journeys to live saving treatment 
  • £23 could pay for an hour with a Young Lives vs Cancer Specialist Social Worker. They help families understand and cope with the emotional, practical and financial effects of cancer. 
  • £60 could pay for a night in a Young Lives vs Cancer Homes from Home, a free place for families to stay close to specialist hospitals when their child is going through treatment, keeping families together

Today is the final mile. Thank you all who have donated and shared. This is really going to help all the poorly children and their families. I really appreciate you all

Friday 18th Apr
Although it’s Easter week, I’m still going. Determined to complete my challenge for young children and their families. Just 2 days left! Thank you all so much for your donations, every single donation no matter how much really helps this amazing charity to provide the poorly young children and their families with what they need.

Leeds castle

Sunday 13th Apr
A walk around Leeds castle to get a few miles in. Already completed 11 miles in total in my first week. Completely motivated in raising money for poorly children and their families.

4 days in

Thursday 10th Apr
4 days in and yesterday was a hard day as it was so cold but still got my miles in. Today was a great day managed to get some extra miles in. So in 4 days I have achieved a total of 6 miles already. I’m only 4 and hated walking very far but with headphones on, music playing and dancing as I go, I’m really starting to enjoy it. Thank you all that have already donated

The beginning

Monday 7th Apr
Today was the start of my challenge. Headphones on, focused on the cause I’m helping and the amazing people who have donated…7k steps and over a mile accomplished today. Ready for the next mile tomorrow.

Sunday 16th Mar
Hi all, my son is setting himself a challenge. He will be walking/running or riding a mile a day for 14 days from 7th April - 20th April. As many of you know he is only 4 but HE has decided that he would like to raise money for poorly children that he would like to save (his words)
