I’ll be completing 100 miles between 1st and 31st March to help raise vital funds for children and young people with cancer.

Young Lives vs Cancer help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. Make a donation and show your support today.

Why I am doing this

Monday 23rd Mar
The 28th of March this year will mark 5 years since my beautiful older sister Lucy passed away and I wanted to do something to mark this so I’ll be taking on the 100 Miles in March challenge for Young Lives vs Cancer.   

Young Lives vs Cancer were a great support to not only Lucy but also our whole family during the time she was diagnosed with cancer but also afterwards, wether that was support through providing us with rooms in Jean’s House (a home from home for patients families which was close to the hospital in Southampton), vouchers that Lucy could spend in the shops in the hospital and bereavement support in the form of counselling. 

Every day, 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer.  Young Lives vs Cancer help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. A donation of just £26 could pay for one hour of care from a specialist Young Lives vs Cancer Social Worker. So that children and young people with cancer, and their families, get the right care and support at the right time.
