Kid's Summer Challenge for Young Lives vs Cancer.

The two young McGurns are taking on the Kid's Summer Challenge for Young Lives vs Cancer.

They'll be moving a mile a day in August dedicated to this good cause - starting off with a walk on day one, but tomorrow it could be bikes, swims, rows, scoots - who knows?

The kids are looking to raise £150 between them.  I know times aren't easy for many, but if you are able to sponsor them, they'd really appreciate it.

Your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate £2 or £10. Every little bit helps.

Every day 12  children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. The charity Young Lives vs Cancer helps families face whatever cancer throws at them.

  • £15 could go towards a grant to cover travel costs for long journeys to live saving treatment
  • £26 could pay for an hour with a Young Lives vs Cancer Specialist Social Worker. They help families understand and cope with the emotional, practical and financial effects of cancer.
  • £70 could pay for a night in a Young Lives vs Cancer Homes from Home, a free place for families to stay close to specialist hospitals when their child is going through treatment, keeping families together

Thank you for your support.
