I'm walking 100 miles for Young Lives vs Cancer.

I'm taking on the Walk 100 Miles Challenge for Young Lives vs Cancer. I will be walking 100 miles in May to support children and young people with cancer. 

Young Lives vs Cancer help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. Make a donation and show your support today. 

  • £15 could go towards a grant to cover travel costs for long journeys to live saving treatment 
  • £23 could pay for an hour with a Young Lives vs Cancer Specialist Social Worker. They help families understand and cope with the emotional, practical and financial effects of cancer. 
  • £60 could pay for a night in a Young Lives vs Cancer Homes from Home, a free place for families to stay close to specialist hospitals when their child is going through treatment, keeping families together

this will be a challenge for me in its self 100 miles in 31 days. 

As most of you know Ivy-Rose was diagnosed back in October 2023 with Leukemia and confirmed on 2nd November 2023 that she had B cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and we were going to be staying in Bristol Children’s Hospital for the remaining of treatment due to ivy-Rose having Down Syndrome, we were then offered a flat in Clic from @younglivesvscancer for Matt and our other children to stay in as well while myself and Ivy-Rose was in hospital so we could all be together. 

We would like to stay a massive thank you to Young Lives vs Cancer and would like to help raise more funds for this amazing charity to help other families to be able to do the same when their loved ones get diagnosed.
