I’m taking on Walk 30 Miles in November for Young Lives vs Cancer. I will be walking 30 miles this November to support children and young people with cancer.

Young Lives vs Cancer help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. Make a donation and show your support today.

Just a £26 donation could fund an hour of support from a Young Lives vs Cancer specialist social worker ensuring children, young people and families always have someone by their side throughout their cancer journey.

Thank you for your support.

My Updates

52 miles and still going strong

Sunday 23rd Nov
A quick update from me on Day 23 of the Walk 30 Miles in November challenge! I originally set myself the goal of 30 miles and managed to smash that by Day 11. Then I pushed the target to 50 miles and I’ve now passed that too — today I’ve officially reached 52 miles. So I’m setting myself a new goal: 60 miles before the end of November, doubling the original challenge. It was cold, dark and raining at 5am this morning, but I still got outside in my Young Lives vs Cancer T-shirt and beanie hat to get the miles in. Once you get into the routine, even the weather can’t stop you. I’m currently at £134 raised, just £16 away from my £150 target. Thank you so much to everyone who has supported me so far — it really does mean a lot. Let’s see if we can reach (or even beat) the final target by the end of the month.

52 miles and still going

Sunday 23rd Nov

Day 11

Tuesday 11th Nov

Morning world!

It’s just after 6am and I’ve already completed my first mile for the day — and followed it up with a solid gym session to keep the energy flowing. 💪

I’m well on track to smash my 30-mile goal today — by day 11! But I’m not stopping there. There are still 20 days left in November, so the challenge continues! Let’s see how far we can go — I’m aiming for 50 miles total if I can keep this pace up. 🚶‍♂️

I’ve raised £66 so far, and I’d really love to reach £150 or more by the end of the month. Every bit of support helps Young Lives vs Cancer keep doing their incredible work supporting children, young people, and families facing cancer.

Thank you to everyone who’s donated and cheered me on — your support means the world and keeps me moving forward every day. 💜

Day 9 of the Walk 30 Miles in November Challenge! 🚶‍♂️🎗️🎄

Sunday 9th Nov

Another few miles walked today for Young Lives vs Cancer — and Romford’s already glowing with Christmas cheer! ✨

From a giant sparkling reindeer to glittering golden lights and a huge festive tree, today’s walk turned into a proper winter wonderland stroll. 😍 The sights definitely made the miles fly by — though my feet might disagree! 😅

Moments like this remind me why I’m doing this challenge: to help support children, young people and families facing cancer. 💜 Young Lives vs Cancer gives families somewhere to stay near hospitals, helps with the emotional and financial strain, and makes sure no one has to face cancer alone.

Every step makes a difference — and I’m proud to be one of many walking for this amazing cause this month. 💪

💜 Day 2 – Early Starts and Questionable Life Choices 😂☕

Sunday 2nd Nov
Day 2 Walk 1 of the day done — just over a mile completed before 7 a.m.! 💪 Normally it’s only 0.3 miles to the gym, but I’ve decided to “upgrade” it to a full mile each way (just to keep things interesting … and because my brain clearly had other plans before the tea kicked in).

Now off for a 45-minute ride at the gym before walking home again to add another mile to the total — because why not squeeze in three types of exercise before most people are even awake? 😂

The challenge is definitely under way now, and I’m loving every minute (even the cold, dark and slightly soggy ones). Every mile walked this month helps Young Lives vs Cancer continue their incredible work supporting young people and families through the toughest times. 💜

Thank you so much for the support so far — you’re all keeping me going (and possibly saving me from curling up with that cup of tea instead). ☕💪

We’re Off and Walking! Day 1 of the Challenge Begins! 💜

Saturday 1st Nov

💜 Day 1 – Walk 30 Miles in November for Young Lives vs Cancer! 💜

And we’re off! I’ve completed my first two walks today — just under 3 miles in total — and I’m feeling great and full of energy. It’s such a fantastic start to the challenge, and it feels brilliant to finally be out there walking for such an incredible cause.

Every step this month helps support children, young people, and their families as they face cancer — providing emotional, practical, and financial support when they need it most.

Thank you so much to everyone who’s donated and sent kind messages already. Your support means the world and keeps me going! 💪

Here’s to many more miles ahead — and making every one of them count! 💜

Walking 30 Miles This November for Young Lives vs. Cancer 💗

Thursday 9th Oct

So… I’ve decided that November clearly wasn’t going to be cold and rainy enough on its own — I’m adding 30 miles of walking to the mix! 😅

I’m taking on the Young Lives vs. Cancer 30 Miles in November Challenge, raising money to help support young people and families facing one of the toughest battles imaginable. Cancer turns life upside down — and this amazing charity helps pick up the pieces, offering emotional support, practical help, and somewhere to stay near hospitals when families need it most.

It’s such an important cause, and every step I take will (hopefully) make a real difference. I’ll be tracking my walks, probably complaining about the weather, and trying not to get lost somewhere along the way.

If you’re following my page, you can keep an eye on my progress as I shuffle, stride, and occasionally stomp my way through November!

Thanks for being here and for supporting Young Lives vs. Cancer — it really does mean a lot. 💜
