I'm taking on the Cycle 300km for Young Lives vs Cancer - in memory of Linda

I'm taking on the Cycle 300km Challenge for Young Lives vs Cancer in August.

This challenge is incredibly close to our family's heart. My wife's sister, Linda, tragically passed away from a rare form of cancer at just 14 years old. This was back in the 1970s, a time when the invaluable support now provided by Young Lives vs Cancer was simply not available to Linda's sister, Paula, her brother, and her parents.

While Linda's memory lives on in their hearts every single day, we want to ensure other families navigating similar, incredibly difficult times get the opportunity to receive the help they need.

• £70 could pay for a night in a Young Lives vs Cancer Homes from Home, a free place for families to stay close to specialist hospitals when their child is going through treatment, keeping families together.
