Young Lives vs Cancer help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. Make a donation and show your support today. 

  • £15 could go towards a grant to cover travel costs for long journeys to live saving treatment 
  • £23 could pay for an hour with a Young Lives vs Cancer Specialist Social Worker. They help families understand and cope with the emotional, practical and financial effects of cancer. 
  • £60 could pay for a night in a Young Lives vs Cancer Homes from Home, a free place for families to stay close to specialist hospitals when their child is going through treatment, keeping families together

Ben’s journey

Thursday 3rd Apr
Ben was diagnosed with ALL leukemia in July 2023. He had 8 months of intense chemo, which for a 5 year old, is a lot to take. He is now in maintenance treatment and still has to have daily chemo tablets and monthly chemo shots but is doing much better. He is however still immunocompromised which can affect his ability to fight viruses and infections. We are hoping he will be treatment free in November 2025.

Ben wants to raise money for this amazing charity as he knows what it feels like to be cared and supported for by them at a really difficult time. He wants to help support other children that unfortunately will go through this.
