Young Lives vs Cancer help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. Make a donation and show your support today. 

  • £15 could go towards a grant to cover travel costs for long journeys to live saving treatment 
  • £26 could pay for an hour with a Young Lives vs Cancer Specialist Social Worker. They help families understand and cope with the emotional, practical and financial effects of cancer. 
  • £70 could pay for a night in a Young Lives vs Cancer Homes from Home, a free place for families to stay close to specialist hospitals when their child is going through treatment, keeping families together

Absolutely thrilled to say that we have surpassed our target for this challenge!
 
Kian is so happy that he has beaten his goal already, and is determined to raise more. Thank you so much to everyone who has donated so far, and for the support and words of encouragement recieved.

There's still plenty of time left and Kian has every intention of raising as much as he can. It's a cause close to heart and means a lot that people are showing their support.

Our Story

Hello all! 

I would like to introduce two of my little troopers taking on the challenge this summer. Kian, 8 years, and his little sister Rosie, 5 years, will be walking, running, biking and scooting throughout August to help raise money for Young Lives vs Cancer.

After losing their grandma, Bebe as she was known by my children, earlier this year to cancer, Kian in particular has been very keen to do something for cancer. When he saw this challenge he jumped at the opportunity to help young people and their families. He has set himself a challenge to complete as many miles as he can every day, and is coming up with other little ways he can raise money. Rosie is excited to be coming along with her big brother in memory of Bebe. Their little brother Elijah, 2 years, will come along for the journey from time to time too.

It's amazing that both Kian and Rosie are wanting to do this in memory of Bebe. They have said that they want to do as many challenges they can, raising money for children and adults alike, fighting cancer one challenge at a time!
