I'm running 50 miles for Young Lives vs Cancer.

I'm taking on the Run 50 Miles Challenge for Young Lives vs Cancer. I will be running 50 miles in June to support children and young people with cancer.

Young Lives vs Cancer help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. Make a donation today to show your support.

  • £26 could pay for 1 hours of a Young Lives vs Cancer Social Worker's time. They help children and young people to understand and cope with the emotional, practical and financial effects of cancer, throughout treatment and beyond.
  • £70 could pay for a night in a Young Lives vs Cancer Homes from Home, a free place for families to stay close to specialist hospitals when their child is going through treatment, keeping families together

Join me in supporting a good cause, your contribution will make a big impact, whether you donate £5 or £500. Every little bit helps. Thank you for your support.

My Updates

Young lives V Cancer

Wednesday 14th May
We all know cancer can affect anyone at any age. In fact globally nearly 20million people were diagnosed.

Around 1800 new cases are diagnosed in children in the UK alone.

When a child is diagnosed with cancer it’s threatens everything, including their families.

I have chosen to the Young lives v Cancer challenge to run 50 miles in June to try and help even a little, make those children and families as comfortable as can be, be it a financial grant, keeping them warm or helping them simply to treatment.

Having knowledge personally from people who it is affecting helps mw understand the struggles they face on a daily basis.

Please, if you can, spare some money to this awesome charity.. even the littlest will go a long way.
