I’m taking on 100 Miles this March for Young Lives vs Cancer.
I’ll be completing 100 miles between 1st and 31st March to help raise vital funds for children and young people with cancer.
Young Lives vs Cancer help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. Make a donation and show your support today.
Just a £26 donation could fund an hour of support from a Young Lives vs Cancer specialist social worker ensuring children, young people and families always have someone by their side throughout their cancer journey.Thank you for your support.

About me!
Saturday 21st FebIn March, I’m walking 100 miles.
Not in one go. Not across a desert. Just consistently, day by day, around London. One hundred miles over the month — roughly the distance from central London to Bath.
When you put it that way, it sounds slightly more ambitious.
I’m mainly doing this for fitness — to move more, be outside more, and break up the rhythm of work and routine. But I’m also using it as a small way to give something back.
Like most people, I’ve known friends, colleagues and extended family who’ve faced cancer or gone through incredibly hard chapters in their lives. Nothing that’s defined my own life directly — but enough to know how common and how brutal those experiences can be. It doesn’t need to be personal to matter.
Walking 100 miles won’t change the world. But collectively, small actions add up. A mile here, a mile there — it’s surprising how quickly momentum builds. The same is true for fundraising.
So throughout March, I’ll be tracking the miles and sharing the progress. If you’d like to support the cause, I’d really appreciate it. If not, that’s completely fine too — even just asking how it’s going will help keep me accountable.
At the very least, I’ll come out of March fitter and even more familiar with London’s pavements.
