Young Lives vs Cancer helps families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day, 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news that they have cancer. Make a donation and show your support today.

Just a £26 donation could fund an hour of support from a Young Lives vs Cancer specialist social worker, ensuring children, young people and families always have someone by their side throughout their cancer journey.

£70 could pay for a night in a Young Lives vs Cancer Home from Home, a free place for families to stay close to specialist hospitals when their child is going through treatment, keeping families together.

Day 13

Tuesday 14th Apr

Pushing themselves with an evening walk as we were busy till 6:30! Great effort, by a tired Ava especially 💜 one more day to go 💪🏼 so so proud of them and grateful to all of their generous sponsors when money is tight for everyone; really appreciated!

Monday 13th Apr

Walked an hour round the park and after Paige’s club to make sure we smashed it again today, even with being back at school 🩵 still doing so well!

Saturday 11th Apr

5 miles walked today around Walton Gardens. Paige stopped to take a selfie with her new favourite animal; a goat!

Friday 10th Apr

3 miles done today walking round laps of Ryfields (& found Great Grandad in the process!) while the rain poured, and then outdoors locally when it stopped! Bring back the sunshine ☀️

Stopped for donuts after walking 7 miles!!

We walked 6 miles around Trentham Gardens today! Completing the Fairy Quest helped the girls to keep going; and Ava didn’t complain once 🩷🏆🙌🏻

Just the mile walk today as I was tired from walking 1000 miles round the Trafford centre with them 😆as this photo shows I wasn’t the only one! 🩷

Day 4: Sunday!

Monday 6th Apr

We walked around the forest at CAFT until we’d hit one mile, then stopped to help build a den! Walked miles more over the day, but I told them the sponsored walk is separate 😆🚶‍♀️🚶‍♀️

Paige was on a mission to find pink flowers in our walk today! Walked a mile and a half today and only stopped cz I couldn’t do more today 😅

Smashed it today walking for 3 hours around Tatton Hall! Walking well over a mile in the beautiful weather was a great start to our mission 💛

Inspired by a school friend, Paige & Ava have committed to walking a mile a day for 2 weeks to raise money for Young Lives vs Cancer. So many people have been affected in different ways by this terrible disease, and any small way we can help fight it is worth it! Paige said ‘If I had cancer I would like people to help me and you should treat others the way you want to be treated; and be kind.
