I'm taking on the Cycle 300km for Young Lives vs Cancer.

I'm taking on the Cycle 300km Challenge for Young Lives vs Cancer in August.
Join me in supporting a good cause and your contribution will make a big impact to children and young people with cancer. 

Young Lives vs Cancer help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. Make a donation and show your support today. 

  • £18 could go toward powering a Home from Home for a day, ensuring families have the light and comfort they need.
  • £26 could pay for an hour with a Young Lives vs Cancer Specialist Social Worker. They help families understand and cope with the emotional, practical and financial effects of cancer. 
  • £70 could pay for a night in a Young Lives vs Cancer Homes from Home, a free place for families to stay close to specialist hospitals when their child is going through treatment, keeping families together.

A lot has happened the last 5 years from buying my first house, getting a dog, getting engaged, having our first son, getting married then having our second son. 

I am excited to take on this challenge as cycling was something I used to love along with the sport of triathlon before, but having not picked up a road since 2020 I feel like this challenge is going to be tough. 

I thought to myself, what better way to get back into the saddle than doing this challenge? The cause speaks for itself, young lives vs cancer. 

Having seen families around me going through the trauma of their child having cancer only spurs me on more to try and just make a little bit of a difference no matter how big or small that is. 

Together we can make a difference.
