Young Lives vs Cancer help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. Make a donation and show your support today. 

  • £15 could go towards a grant to cover travel costs for long journeys to live saving treatment 
  • £23 could pay for an hour with a Young Lives vs Cancer Specialist Social Worker. They help families understand and cope with the emotional, practical and financial effects of cancer. 
  • £60 could pay for a night in a Young Lives vs Cancer Homes from Home, a free place for families to stay close to specialist hospitals when their child is going through treatment, keeping families together

10th day

Tuesday 15th Apr
Today we went for a walk and played in the playground for a bit. Benett even been in a football camp,so he definitely had his mile done. Only one mile is missing for him and 3miles for Oliver. They are doing great!

8th and 9th day

Sunday 13th Apr
Yesterday we were a bit busy,but we managed to double up the mile today. Benett cycled more then 2 miles and we walked with Oliver a mile. They are still motivated and enjoying it. Very proud of them.

7th day

Friday 11th Apr
Today morning we went for a swimming session, it was more about fun then excercise. At the afternoon there was a lovely weather, walked in the park and played on the playground for 3hours. Benett met with his friends and played football,so he did very well today too.

6th day

Thursday 10th Apr
We were busy today, but between Oliver’s and Benett’s swimming lesson we conpleted the 1 mile walk. Benett was wearing my watch was keep tracking his progress. After this he swam for 45minutes. I’m very proud of them, they completed them 9th miles.

5th day

Thursday 10th Apr
We went to science museum on Wednesday morning, and walked all the way to Diana’s memorial playground what was around a bit more then a mile away from the museum. They played in the playground more then 2 hours,so probably did an other mile there,because they never stopped 😅

4th day

Thursday 10th Apr
Benett was skipping and Oliver was riding a bike on them 1 mile. After they completed they mile we went to the playground to play.

3rd day

Thursday 10th Apr
Benett and Oliver decided to ride a bicycle on Monday. Benett got my watch and was keep tracking how much he has done. He did very well, 2.6miles in 29 minutes. Oliver did his 1 mile and then went to the playground to play while his brother complete his 2nd mile too.

2nd day

Thursday 10th Apr
On Sunday afternoon we walked to the pond and played there for a while. Kids had fun, completed a bit over 2miles that day.

1st day

Kids were super excited so we started a bit earlier, on 7th of April. They did really well, we walked more then 2 miles on the first day, lite one was riding a balance bike. They had so much fun.
