We started early as George just couldn’t wait, but today is the official first day of the challenge! 3.3 miles, he wore my watch to track him. Well done, G!! 🌟

Intro

Tuesday 23rd Jul
George has decided to sign up to do 1 mile every day during August, to raise money for ‘Young Lives vs Cancer’. 

George has chosen to take part in this as one of his friends was diagnosed with Cancer a few years ago (thankfully BEAT IT!) and he wants to help other children and young people going through it by raising money to donate. He doesn’t know much about the disease as I personally believe he’s too young to know all the in’s and out’s and it would upset him (he’s very sensitive) - he does however, know that people get very poorly with it and he wants to help make a difference and make poorly people a little happier 🥹❤️

Anyone who knows George will know he absolutely loves being outdoors and being active, he also thrives off being challenged and is very much looking forward to taking part in this!
