I'm running 100 miles for Young Lives vs Cancer.

I'm taking on the Run 100 Miles Challenge for Young Lives vs Cancer. I will be running 100 miles in March to support children and young people with cancer. 

Young Lives vs Cancer help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. Make a donation and show your support today. 

  • £20 could pay for a coat for a child or young person with cancer, to help keep them warm through the winter months when they really feel the cold due to treatment
  • £60 could pay for a night in a Young Lives vs Cancer Homes from Home, a free place for families to stay close to specialist hospitals when their child is going through treatment, keeping families together

Monday 31st Mar
100 miles!!! So proud of myself for completing this. Thank you for everyone who’s helped me and donated to Young Lives Vs Cancer Ella xxx

Sunday 30th Mar
It was Mothers Day today but my mum and dad still came to cheer me on at Park Run. I done todays miles across 3 different runs. It was so hard but only one more day! I also got another PB at park run and was 2nd to cross the line & 1st girl! So proud of myself at how this has pushed me. Tomorrow is the last day!

Sunday 30th Mar
I still managed a long run before heading out for a family day. It was so hard but the weather was shinning!

Friday 28th Mar
Hi everyone I’m out yet again on another run - itfeels like this challenge has gone very quick. Much preferred tonight’s run and not being confined to the treadmill. Thank you to everyone who’s donated, supported me and cheered me on 🏃‍♀️

Day 27 / 31

Thursday 27th Mar
As I’m a little behind with only 5 days to go (and it’s almost my birthday too) I done a 10 miles on the treadmill as soon as I got home from school. It was a mix of run and walk but it was very long. I much prefer road running so tomorrow I’m back out on my normal routes.

Day 18 - 26 / 31

Thursday 27th Mar
Wow it’s been a hard week. I have had SATs mocks and hurt my leg with all my running but I am still continuing my challenge- just a little slow with my updates. I ran Parkrun again on Sunday and was 3rd across the line & 1st girl to finish. Didn’t make another PB but I’ll aim for that this weekend!

Monday 17th Mar
Today I opted for the treadmill and managed 10.94K in 1 hour 14 minutes!! So proud of myself

Sunday 16th Mar
ANOTHER PB!! I set myself a target to finish as the first girl and I done it in 10 minute 53 seconds. This afternoon I’m going to watch a film whilst running at home on the treadmill to catch up on some missing miles because of dance days. Hoping to finish tonight on 53 miles completed in total so far

Sunday 16th Mar
A nice run with my Bestie Isla joining me before having a girly day shopping together. It was much nicer running with someone than on my own!

Friday 14th Mar
Straight in from a busy day and out for a quick 4K run. Tomorrow I’m planning a 7K road run and then my mums getting the treadmill set up so I can catch up on some missing miles from this week. Hopefully by Sunday I’m all caught up!

Busy week this week but still managed to do my runs although forgot to record myself for my running videos! Thank you for every single donation so far

First run of the day at park run and another PB!! Finished in 11.04 this week - next week will be in the 10s

Saturday 8th Mar
Today was 6.32K across 2 runs. It was hard but felt good to hit what I needed to for staying on track 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

4.76K after school. Hardest run yet

First consistent 5K run and even manged to do more than just 5K

After school run - today I even had a teacher drive past cheering me on! 🏃‍♀️

First run of the day and managed to achieve a new Jr Parkrun! 2K in 11.22

New JR Parkrun PB

Monday 24th Feb
My training has been underway and results shown with a new PB for my Sunday park runs. Almost time for my 5K a day and the weather seems to be turning for the better just in time!

Today I took part in the local junior parkrun and hit a new 2025 PB! I’ll need to be doing 5k a day in March to complete 100 miles so this is a great warm up for me
