I'm taking on 10,000 steps every day in February for Young Lives vs Cancer.

I’m taking on 10,000 steps every day in February for Young Lives vs Cancer. 

Young Lives vs Cancer help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day, 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news that they have cancer. Make a donation and show your support today.

Just a £26 donation could fund an hour of support from a Young Lives vs Cancer specialist social worker, ensuring children, young people and families always have someone by their side throughout their cancer journey.

£70 could pay for a night in a Young Lives vs Cancer Home from Home, a free place for families to stay close to specialist hospitals when their child is going through treatment, keeping families together.

Day 24 🩷

Thursday 26th Feb
Went for a 8km run and racked up the steps was a killer but felt good once it was done 👍

Monday 23rd Feb
I felt strong today as I got back into the work routine and managed a good workout when I got in.

Day 22 🩷

Monday 23rd Feb
A slightly slower day today as I was still tired from Saturday but still I got a 5k run done in the morning on the treadmill and boy was it hard 🤦🏻‍♀️ still happy with my step count and was getting ready for wok tomorrow.

Monday 23rd Feb
This was a busy day that started with a long walk with by boy. This was followed by a workout and then whole hose cleaning 🤦🏻‍♀️ I couldn’t even speak at the end of the day from how tired I was. Everything I needed to do got done and I got all my steps in and more. Today was a good day 😁😎

Friday 20th Feb
Got up early and worked out before heading out to meet a friend for a coffee catch up. Walked all the way to the coffee shop and back. Another good amount of steps today 💪

Started my day with a long workout to get my steps in & a walk to add on top of that 👍☔️

The steps are building up more and more! Went to the cinema today watched crime 101 great film.

Out to Canary Wharf today beautiful views and a good time in Clays bar

Got some good steps in today and I’m the closest to getting to my goal 💪😎❤️

Valentine’s Day was lovey and I enjoyed it but it had to include me getting my steps in ❤️

Back to work and I woke up so tired but after all my walking at work I was ready to workout and add some more steps once I got home. Happy with the end total Mondays are always a drag 🥱

Sunday walk with my boy and home workouts after have all added up to this.

Saturday 7th Feb
Came back stronger today and started with a run 🏃‍♀️ indoors as the weather was rubbish again. Next a nice long walk to Romford.

Another hard day as my back injury was playing up but still reached my target so very happy about that. All that walking at work really pays off!

Well after a long day of non stop walking I’ve passed the 20,000 mark and I’m very happy 😃 the rain did not stop me!

So I officially have my charity tshirt and isn't it lovely! A rainy first day but we continue anyway. Little coffee stop and then back to it. Thank you to my bf Nick for coming along for the long walk even tho u hate walking lol love you ❤️

Taking on a challenge

Every cause is a worthy one but this case really touched me and made me want to get involved to raise some money to help. Let’s all make a change whether it be getting involved in the challenge, donating or just sharing to help. Everything can make a difference 🩷
