We're taking on the Kid's Summer Challenge for Young Lives vs Cancer.

Want to join us in supporting a good cause? We're taking on the Kid's Summer Challenge for Young Lives vs Cancer and your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate £5 or £500. Every little bit helps. Thank you for your support.

Young Lives vs Cancer help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. Make a donation and show your support today.

  • £15 could go towards a grant to cover travel costs for long journeys to live saving treatment
  • £26 could pay for an hour with a Young Lives vs Cancer Specialist Social Worker. They help families understand and cope with the emotional, practical and financial effects of cancer.
  • £70 could pay for a night in a Young Lives vs Cancer Homes from Home, a free place for families to stay close to specialist hospitals when their child is going through treatment, keeping families together

Join me in supporting a good cause, your contribution will make a big impact, whether you donate £5 or £500. Every little bit helps. Thank you for your support.

My Updates

Week 2 - Nemo Week

Thursday 14th Aug
We started the week with friend visiting and a walk to and from Mycenae woods. This week Megan and Jacob have been in 6 hour rehearsals for their summer production of finding nemo so have more than done their mile of activity (just keep swimming). Me and Rhys have had an adventure week: Monday was out to Shorne wood country park for a walk and play park, Tuesday was a trip to Greenwich starting with a bit of theatre and then a walk through the foot tunnel and back to avoid the heat, Wednesday we got out steps with friends in Danson (play) park and swimming lessons. Today we are staying local and walking to shops and then onto park.

Week 1 - With Dad

Friday 8th Aug
This week Luke took the kids to:
Monday:  A Parkour class and docklands museum and walk around Canary Wharf
Tuesday:  Day walking around the V&A children's museum and hours at the Victoria park play park.
Wednesday: Teddy bears picnic down at mud chute farm (I hear there was even a ride on a tractor)
Thursday: Gruffalo trail walk
Friday: Little bit more restful with some shorter local walks and a trip to a board game cafe!
