I'm running 100 miles for Young Lives vs Cancer.

I'm taking on the Run 100 Miles Challenge for Young Lives vs Cancer. I will be running 100 miles in October to support children and young people with cancer. 

Young Lives vs Cancer help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. Make a donation and show your support today. 

  • £20 could pay for a coat for a child or young person with cancer, to help keep them warm through the winter months when they really feel the cold due to treatment
  • £60 could pay for a night in a Young Lives vs Cancer Homes from Home, a free place for families to stay close to specialist hospitals when their child is going through treatment, keeping families together

Young lives Vs Cancer

 Coming up this October I will be lacing up my running trainers and slipping into my short shorts to run a few miles for charity, I will be taking on the Young lives vs Cancer 100 mile running challenge. I believe this challenge is a great opportunity to help raise funds and awareness for a cause which will positively help young people who are having to face a difficult and uncertain future, cancer is a horrible disease which most people will be impacted by at some point. To have to face this whilst also dealing with the pressures of being young and having your dreams for the future upheaved and thrown into doubt must be unbelievably hard for people to cope with at a time in life when you should be looking forward excitedly and full of optimism.  I think any charity that can give back people hope and confidence in the future for people during this time is worth supporting so would massively appreciate any donation you could spare.
