I’m running/jogging/walking 100 Miles in October for Young Lives vs Cancer.

I’ll be running/jogging/walking 100 Miles in October, from the 1st to the 31st, to help raise vital funds for children and young people with cancer.

Young Lives vs Cancer help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. With practical and emotional support. With someone always there. A social worker that gets it.
With places to stay near hospitals. With campaigning to make health, welfare and social care work better. To champion, to problem solve and bring about change. 

Every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. Make a donation and show your support today.

Just a £26 donation could fund an hour of support from a Young Lives vs Cancer specialist social worker, ensuring children, young people and families always have someone by their side throughout their cancer journey.

Liams Story

Saturday 5th Sep
Liam was diagnosed with T Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia back in April. It all happened very fast. One day he was hiking across the Mendips and Caving at Wookey. Next he was told he had tonsillitis to be then taken to The RUH in Bath and diagnosed with something that completely not on our radar. 

With complete determination Liam still sat his GCSE’s in June and aced them all. 

I am so proud of him. 

Between The Paediatrics unit at The RUH and the TYA Unit at the Oncology Centre at The BRI Liam has had exceptional support and care. I really want to give something back and help this fantastic charity.
