We're taking on the Kid's Summer Challenge for Young Lives vs Cancer.

Want to join us in supporting a good cause? We're taking on the Kid's Summer Challenge for Young Lives vs Cancer and your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate £5 or £500. Every little bit helps. Thank you for your support.

Young Lives vs Cancer help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. Make a donation and show your support today.

  • £15 could go towards a grant to cover travel costs for long journeys to live saving treatment
  • £26 could pay for an hour with a Young Lives vs Cancer Specialist Social Worker. They help families understand and cope with the emotional, practical and financial effects of cancer.
  • £70 could pay for a night in a Young Lives vs Cancer Homes from Home, a free place for families to stay close to specialist hospitals when their child is going through treatment, keeping families together

Join me in supporting a good cause, your contribution will make a big impact, whether you donate £5 or £500. Every little bit helps. Thank you for your support.

My Updates

Sunday Funday Geocaching

Monday 25th Aug
Today consisted of a very sunny, very off roady and very hilly 4 mile geocaching loop.

Park running

Monday 25th Aug
On Saturday Fraser ran adult park run and on Sunday Sebastian ran junior park run on his own for the first time and smashed his PB!

Three for Friday

Friday 22nd Aug
We wandered into town today with Daddy and then after Mummy finished work we did a 2 mile (hilly) loop with a friend and his dog. Finishing off with a J2o in the pub!

BlackBerry picking

Wednesday 20th Aug
No pictures today as we were too busy blackberry picking but we racked up 2 miles in the process

Mega miles

Tuesday 19th Aug
Today we hiked 5 miles over Caesars camp with friends, looking for House of Dragons sets ☺️

Radio silence but we haven’t stopped

Thursday 14th Aug
Sorry about the quiet updates this week, we have just been super busy putting in the miles - we have been riding, walking and park running our way through this past week! ☺️

Wednesday walking

Saturday 9th Aug
While Fraser was still away, Sebastian clocked up 2 miles walking to and from the train station - running around and playing cricket at Gostrey meadows inbetween

Park run

Saturday 9th Aug
3 miles in the bag this morning for both boys. A quieter day yesterday but 2 miles walked on Thursday. Smashing it ☺️

After a few days off

Tuesday 5th Aug
Mummy and Daddy have been away - Fraser is at cub camp and will most definitely be clocking his miles up with all the hiking and running around they do. I stayed with Granny and although did lots of running around an unsure on distance so am cashing in my spare 2 miles from park run on Saturday for the past 2 days. Back on it today - walked back from Granny and Ra Ra’s with Daddy.

First mile in the bag

Thursday 31st Jul
The challenge officially starts tomorrow but with work and other commitments we are going to be tight for time to do it, so we headed out today to get a head start.

Keeping busy and raising money!

Tuesday 29th Jul
The boys have decided to take part in the following challenge to help raise money for a good cause......

The challenge is simple - complete 1 mile a day, every day for 31 days in August, in whatever way the kid's want. They could run, walk, skip, swim, wheel or scoot, or whatever way they want to cover the distance. Every mile counts.
