I'm walking 100 miles for Young Lives vs Cancer.

I'm taking on the Walk 100 Miles Challenge for Young Lives vs Cancer. I will be walking 100 miles in May to support children and young people with cancer. 

Young Lives vs Cancer help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. Make a donation and show your support today. 

  • £15 could go towards a grant to cover travel costs for long journeys to live saving treatment 
  • £23 could pay for an hour with a Young Lives vs Cancer Specialist Social Worker. They help families understand and cope with the emotional, practical and financial effects of cancer. 
  • £60 could pay for a night in a Young Lives vs Cancer Homes from Home, a free place for families to stay close to specialist hospitals when their child is going through treatment, keeping families together

I'm taking this challenge on because we want to give back to the charities that are currently supporting us as. Family we had dulcies diagnoses in january 2025 after we were palmed off but our doctor surgery and we have been supported by the younglivesvscancer social workers xx

Dulcie was diagnosed with lymphoma in January and has been undergoing treatment we have a long road ahead of us and at the small age of 3 she is really showing how resilient she is, she's has undone so much within a short space of time an op on her head as they originally thought she had a brain tumour but this was not the case after it was sent for tests, chemo is currently doing what it needs too!
