Young Lives vs Cancer help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. Make a donation and show your support today. 

  • £15 could go towards a grant to cover travel costs for long journeys to live saving treatment 
  • £26 could pay for an hour with a Young Lives vs Cancer Specialist Social Worker. They help families understand and cope with the emotional, practical and financial effects of cancer. 
  • £70 could pay for a night in a Young Lives vs Cancer Homes from Home, a free place for families to stay close to specialist hospitals when their child is going through treatment, keeping families together

Last Run

Sunday 31st Aug
Today was our last run. Harrison and Ruby decided to do it in their new pjs and Co pelted most of the distance on their bikes. We had soo much fun running walking cycling and swimming our miles!!!

Pringles

Wednesday 27th Aug
Today Ruby decided to run with her favourite Pringles… I think it gave her some extra energy cause she was super fast tonight!

Walking/Running in Split

Tuesday 19th Aug
On the 15th of August we visited Split and kids walked for miles around this stunning city!!! So we felt bad to ask them to go for a run again in the evening. It was soo hot and sunny and at times unbearable so Harrison and Ruby took every opportunity to lay down and rest :)

Running with bunnies

Friday 15th Aug
Kids come up with different ideas and challenges every day. On Wednesday they decided to run to playground with their favourite bunnies under their t-shirts. Sniffles, Sister and Boy (bunnies) loved running and swinging on the playground too. :)

Challenge

Friday 8th Aug
Ruby loves to set herself tough challenges. Yesterday she insisted on running in sandals and with pen and paper in her hands. Today she decided to run in wellies that are 2 sizes to small…took us 10min to squeeze her feet in them but she did it! You’ve got to admire her determination!! 🥰😂🙈

Getting Ready

Wednesday 30th Jul
Harrison and Ruby are super excited to get started with their running challenge. They both received their sticker chart, they both get their trainers ready and we have been practicing going out for walks and runs more often in last few days. 
They cannot wait for this Friday way of August to start their challenge!!!
