I'm taking on the 30 Days of Fitness Challenge for Young Lives vs Cancer.

I'm taking on the 30 Days of Fitness Challenge for Young Lives vs Cancer. I'm taking this on to support children and young people with cancer. Join me in supporting a good cause, your contribution will make a big impact, whether you donate £5 or £500. Every little bit helps. Thank you for your support.

Children and young people with cancer are facing a winter without the magic that many of us hope for. Instead of making precious memories with their family, treatment means that they’re facing weeks spent many miles from home.

But cancer doesn’t have to mean families are torn apart. That special moments are lost. You can keep families together this winter.

£23 could pay for an hour of support from a Young Lives vs Cancer social worker, so that children and young people with cancer, and their families, get the right care and support at the right time

£60 could pay for a night in a Young Lives vs Cancer Homes from Home, a free place for families to stay close to specialist hospitals when their child is going through treatment, keeping families together.

My Updates

The winter bugs have got a hold of me!!

Friday 31st Jan
Hey guys, unsure if anyone reads my updates, but hey ho.
So thankful for everyone's donations and sharing my journey.
Unfortunately the last few days have been a right off... I've got a respiratory infection and have some antibiotics to get rid!! So whatever days I've been inactive I will add on so I still achieve my 30 days!!!
Once again thanks for all the support.
Peace out 🤟 roll on summer!!

Do something good for others and good will return to you!

Friday 17th Jan
Hey all, I'm just putting a quick update as to why I decided to take on this challenge!
Firstly I was supported by this charity during my own cancer journey from 2012 - 2014.
Secondly cancer has affected my life in many ways, it's made me a better person, it's taught me to be thankful for the life you have been given and are living, and it has also affected me mentally and physically, I'm currently 4 months post op for a core decompression of my distal femur on my right leg, this is due to the damage chemo and steroids caused.
So this challenge is something I wanted to do to regain my strength and overall fitness and to also give something back at the same time!
Cancer as a young person isn't easy and without amazing charities like this one it's even more difficult. I'm honoured to be part of this community and I'm always doing whatever I can to keep charities supported with any little help I can.

Thank you for reading.
