I'm walking 30 miles in November for Young Lives vs Cancer.
I’m taking on Walk 30 Miles in November for Young Lives vs Cancer. I will be walking 30 miles this November to support children and young people with cancer.
Young Lives vs Cancer help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. Make a donation and show your support today.
- £26 could fund an hour of support from a Young Lives vs Cancer specialist social worker ensuring children, young people and families always have someone by their side throughout their cancer journey.
- £70 could pay for a night in a Young Lives vs Cancer Homes from Home, a free place for families to stay close to specialist hospitals when their child is going through treatment, keeping families together
Join me in supporting a good cause, your contribution will make a big impact, whether you donate £5 or £500. Every little bit helps. Thank you for your support.

Our super hero
Wednesday 1st OctWhen we were told that Noah had a tumour, our world fell apart. Suddenly we were thrown into hospitals, endless tests, and fear of the unknown. In the middle of that chaos, Young Lives vs Cancer gave us something we didn’t expect: comfort, support, and a home from home.
They welcomed us into one of their incredible houses near the hospital in both London, where his initial testing was, to London where he underwent a long and complex surgery, we could all stay together while Noah underwent tests, and nearby when Noah was in hospital. There were essentials ready for us, games and an Xbox for Noah, and a warm, family atmosphere when everything else felt overwhelming. Most importantly, it lifted the financial burden and gave us one less thing to worry about.
The staff were kind and compassionate, and we saw how they cared not only for us but for so many other families going through the hardest times of their lives. In a place no one ever wants to be, this charity made all the difference.
That’s why we want to raise money for Young Lives vs Cancer. Because they were there for us when we needed it most, and we want to help ensure they can continue to be there for every family facing childhood cancer.
