Young Lives vs Cancer help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. Make a donation and show your support today.

  • £15 could go towards a grant to cover travel costs for long journeys to live saving treatment
  • £26 could pay for an hour with a Young Lives vs Cancer Specialist Social Worker. They help families understand and cope with the emotional, practical and financial effects of cancer.
  • £70 could pay for a night in a Young Lives vs Cancer Homes from Home, a free place for families to stay close to specialist hospitals when their child is going through treatment, keeping families together

Back at home

Wednesday 30th Jul
After a day of travelling back from holiday, today the kids managed a light half a mile walking to and from the park (although they probably did manage a lot more than that with all the running around once we got there!)

Last day of holiday!

Tuesday 29th Jul
The weather was very rainy yesterday morning but Oliver and Ivy still managed half a mile once the weather cleared up!

Beach trips continue!

Tuesday 29th Jul
Oliver and Ivy had a "light" day on Sunday with a mile round trip to the beach. More body boarding from Oliver and plenty of fun in the beach pools with Gran Gran for Ivy.

Padstow Potter

Saturday 26th Jul
Oliver and Ivy walked 3.5 miles today from the car park, down into Padstow, exploring the harbour side then back up to the car park again. There was a stop midway for some lunch and a spot of crabbing, where they caught 11 crabs including one massive one!

Beach Trips Continue!

Saturday 26th Jul
Oliver and Ivy completed another 3 miles yesterday walking to and from they're favourite beach. They also bothe gave body boarding a go for the first time and loved it!

On your marks, get set, GO!

Thursday 24th Jul
Oliver and Ivy kicked off their fundraiser today with a whopping 6 miles of walking! Walking to and from multiple beaches on holiday, they're enjoying exploring whilst raising money for a good cause.
