Run 100 Miles in October 2026

I’m running 100 Miles in October for Young Lives vs Cancer.

I’ll be running 100 Miles in October, from the 1st to the 31st, to help raise vital funds for children and young people with cancer.

Young Lives vs Cancer help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. With practical and emotional support. With someone always there. A social worker that gets it.
With places to stay near hospitals. With campaigning to make health, welfare and social care work better. To champion, to problem solve and bring about change.

Every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. Make a donation and show your support today.

Just a £26 donation could fund an hour of support from a Young Lives vs Cancer specialist social worker, ensuring children, young people and families always have someone by their side throughout their cancer journey.

Thank you for your support.

Every Mile for Riley 💛

Tuesday 22nd Sep
I’m doing this 100 miles for my boy, Riley. 💛 Before August, childhood cancer was something I knew existed, but never in a million years did I think it would become our life. Then my 13-year-old son was diagnosed with leukaemia and our whole world just changed overnight. There really aren’t words for what it feels like to be told your child has cancer. To watch your child go through treatment, spend days and nights in hospital and have to be so brave when all you want to do as their mum is take it all away from them. I would swap places with him in a heartbeat. Since Riley was diagnosed, Young Lives vs Cancer have been there by our side. When your whole world has fallen apart, having people there who actually understand what families like ours are going through means more than I could ever explain. That’s why I wanted to do this. I’m going to run/walk 100 miles throughout October for Riley, but also for every other child and family living this horrible reality. I want to do something that shows Riley just how proud I am of him. He’s going through something no 13-year-old should ever have to go through, and yet he amazes me every single day. And I want to give something back to Young Lives vs Cancer because they don’t just talk about supporting families like ours — they are actually there, beside us, while we’re living it. Every mile is for my boy. For everything he’s already been through, everything he still has ahead of him, and for every other child fighting this horrible illness. If the money we raise can help this amazing charity be there for another family when their world falls apart like ours did, then every single one of those 100 miles will be worth it. For you, Riley. Always. 🎗️💛
