Want to join me in supporting a good cause? This September, I'm taking on the Hair-Raiser Challenge during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. I am joining hundreads of others who are shaving, cutting, dying or styling their hair for Young Lives vs Cancer.
When a child is diagnosed with cancer life becomes full of fear, for them and their family. Fear of treatment, but also of families being torn apart, overwhelming money worries, of having nowhere to turn, no one to talk to.
Young Lives vs Cancer, help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer.
Your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate £5 or £500. Every little bit helps.
Together, we can raise awareness and funds to support children and young people with cancer.

Friday 16th Aug Hi, I'm doing this challenge in support of my daughter who is one of the toughest people I know. From 9 months old she has had to fight tooth and nail against health issues. However that was elevated last year in the final minutes of August when we got a telephone call late at night saying we had to get to hospital immediately. We were told on arrival that she had Leukemia (CML) and life has been a whirlwind since. One of her first fears was losing her hair. This is why I've chosen to take on this challenge.
