I'm walking 100 miles for Young Lives vs Cancer.
I'm taking on the Walk 100 Miles Challenge for Young Lives vs Cancer. I will be walking 100 miles in May to support children and young people with cancer.
Young Lives vs Cancer help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. Make a donation and show your support today.
- £15 could go towards a grant to cover travel costs for long journeys to live saving treatment
- £23 could pay for an hour with a Young Lives vs Cancer Specialist Social Worker. They help families understand and cope with the emotional, practical and financial effects of cancer.
- £60 could pay for a night in a Young Lives vs Cancer Homes from Home, a free place for families to stay close to specialist hospitals when their child is going through treatment, keeping families together

Miles for Young Hearts
Monday 28th AprWhy I’m taking part in the 100 Miles Challenge for Young Lives vs Cancer
As a mum of two, my heart aches when I think of any child or young person having to battle cancer. No one, especially not a young person, should ever have to endure that pain, and no parent should have to watch their child suffer.
Taking part in this challenge is my way of doing something – anything – to help. Running has always been my way of clearing my mind and pushing myself, but now it means so much more.
Every mile I complete is a small act of love, a step towards raising awareness and providing hope for children and young people fighting cancer.
If my effort can make a difference, then it's worth it. Together, we can help bring light into their lives.
