Friday 19th Sep My name is Katie Chadburn.This October I will be taking part in the Run 100
Miles Challenge for Young Lives Vs Cancer.
As some of you may know already, l am currently working towards a career in the RAF.
This means lots of training, lots of running and lots of hard work. So I thought, why not raise money for an increadible cause at the same time.
Cancer is the most common cause of death from disease in young people in the UK. In the UK alone, approximately 167,000 lives are lost to cancer each year.
Young Lives Vs Cancer is a charity that helps children and young people (0-25) and their families with whatever challenges cancer throws their way. Be that transport to and from Hospital for treatment, financial grants for struggling parents, or even a free home from home close to hospitals so families and loved ones can stay close.
Any money raised will help more than you think.
