We're taking on the Kid's Summer Challenge for Young Lives vs Cancer.

Want to join us in supporting a good cause? We're taking on the Kid's Summer Challenge for Young Lives vs Cancer and your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate £5 or £500. Every little bit helps. Thank you for your support.

Young Lives vs Cancer help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. Make a donation and show your support today. 

  • £15 could go towards a grant to cover travel costs for long journeys to live saving treatment 
  • £26 could pay for an hour with a Young Lives vs Cancer Specialist Social Worker. They help families understand and cope with the emotional, practical and financial effects of cancer. 
  • £70 could pay for a night in a Young Lives vs Cancer Homes from Home, a free place for families to stay close to specialist hospitals when their child is going through treatment, keeping families together

Summer Challenge Completed!

Monday 1st Sep
Jack officially completed his miles on Saturday with a little dog walk. Jack has had lots of fun completing this challenge and has become a confident rider during the process. Well done Jack, we are both so proud of you.

Tuesday 26th Aug
Another 2 miles added today hunting for Lions. This has been a great activity over the summer holiday. Today we found Jack's favourite so far, it has a red tractor on it!

Bank Holiday Weekend

Tuesday 26th Aug
Jack has been super busy over the weekend. Walking, running and biking around with his friends. Only 3 miles left to hit his target.

Wednesday 13th Aug
A Lovely day out with the extended family. Lots of walking and running around with excitement. Another 3 miles added to his goal! Well done Jack you're nearly there.

A lovely family afternoon in Cheltenham searching for the lions. Well done Jack another 3 miles completed!

Tuesday 5th Aug
Keeping active over the summer meant I had to buy myself a bike to join in the fun! A slow bike ride teaching Jack some road safety skills today.

Another 3 miles completed walking around puzzle wood today. Well done Jack! If you haven't visited before we highly recommend it!

Bike ride with Puppy

Tuesday 29th Jul
A little bike ride to the park with puppy. Jack's getting confident riding his big bike. He's even standing up and pedalling! Well done Jack.

Monday 28th Jul
Jack asked to go for a run with me (mum). It started off well but Jack got distracted by all the blackberries and flower. We decided to turn it into a nature walk instead. We saw dragonflies, grasshoppers and had lots of blackberries.

Jack plans to walk, run or bike 31 miles over the summer. We will log his miles on our Garmin devices and share his progress. Good Luck Jack, love mum and dad.
