Young Lives vs Cancer help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. Make a donation and show your support today.
- £15 could go towards a grant to cover travel costs for long journeys to live saving treatment
- £26 could pay for an hour with a Young Lives vs Cancer Specialist Social Worker. They help families understand and cope with the emotional, practical and financial effects of cancer.
- £70 could pay for a night in a Young Lives vs Cancer Homes from Home, a free place for families to stay close to specialist hospitals when their child is going through treatment, keeping families together

I did it!!!!!
Tuesday 9th Sep Thank you so much to all my wonderful sponsors ! I finished August after completing one mile a day (minimum) and have raised a massive £1025 I am so unbelievably proud of myself and grateful for all the support!

I can’t believe there’s only 5 days left of my challenge and I’ve already raised nearly £1000 for Young Lives vs Cancer! That’s way more than my first goal of £150… I’ve totally smashed it and I’m so proud! 🥳
It makes me really happy knowing that all the miles I’ve done are helping children who need support. This is the first time I’ve ever done something like this and been sponsored, and it feels amazing because it’s for such a good cause. I feel super lucky that so many people have helped me and cheered me on 💖
Some days were a bit hard because I felt tired and just wanted to chill, but I kept going and I’ve already done more than 31 miles! I’m going to keep going and do even more in these last few days, even while I’m on holiday! 🏖️👟

Lacey’s Summer Challenge- let’s go !
Friday 1st AugHi, my name is Lacey and I’m 8 years old. This summer, I’m taking on the Summer Challenge to raise money for Young Lives vs Cancer, because I want to help children who are having a really hard time.
Some kids have cancer and spend a lot of time in hospitals. They miss school, feel really sick, and can’t play like they used to. I think they are super brave, and I want to do something nice for them.
Young Lives vs Cancer helps families find places to stay near the hospital, gives them support when things feel scary, and makes sure they don’t have to go through it all alone.
That’s why I’m fundraising—so more kids and families can get help when they need it most.
I’m excited to do the Summer Challenge, and I promise to give it my all! If you’d like to support me, you’ll be helping other children feel a little better and smile a bit more.
