- £15 could go towards a grant to cover travel costs for long journeys to live saving treatment
- £26 could pay for an hour with a Young Lives vs Cancer Specialist Social Worker. They help families understand and cope with the emotional, practical and financial effects of cancer.
- £70 could pay for a night in a Young Lives vs Cancer Homes from Home, a free place for families to stay close to specialist hospitals when their child is going through treatment, keeping families together

One Mile at a Time. Our Mother-Daughter Journey for Young Lives vs Cancer
Wednesday 9th JulNext month, in August, me and my daughter Alaysia are lacing up our trainers and walking one mile a day to raise important funds for Young Lives vs Cancer. A charity close to a lot of people’s hearts, including us.
Every day, we’ll be walking side by side to show our support for the incredible children, young people, and families facing cancer. While our daily mile may seem small, it represents something much bigger - hope, strength, and a commitment to stand with those going through the toughest fight of their lives.
Alaysia is just a child herself, yet she understands the power of kindness and compassion. This challenge is not only about raising money, but also about raising awareness, showing that even the smallest steps can make a huge difference.
We would be so grateful for your support. Whether it’s a donation, a share, or a few kind words of encouragement, it all helps. Together, we can help ensure that no young person faces cancer alone.
