I'm taking on the 30 Days of Fitness Challenge for Young Lives vs Cancer. I'm taking this on to support children and young people with cancer. Join me in supporting a good cause, your contribution will make a big impact, whether you donate £5 or £500. Every little bit helps. Thank you for your support.
Children and young people with cancer are facing a winter without the magic that many of us hope for. Instead of making precious memories with their family, treatment means that they’re facing weeks spent many miles from home.
But cancer doesn’t have to mean families are torn apart. That special moments are lost. You can keep families together this winter.
£23 could pay for an hour of support from a Young Lives vs Cancer social worker, so that children and young people with cancer, and their families, get the right care and support at the right time
£60 could pay for a night in a Young Lives vs Cancer Homes from Home, a free place for families to stay close to specialist hospitals when their child is going through treatment, keeping families together.

My Updates

Day 9
Thursday 9th Jan I knew I had to work extra hard today as I sadly missed days 8 workout.
Day 8
Thursday 9th Jan I have to be honest… after a long day at work, my baby teething and not settling well, I aborted mission tonight. I needed time to unwind after cooking dinner far too late for my liking, I sat by the fire to thaw out after a very cold day. I knew I had to work extra hard on day 9! Share
Day 7
Tuesday 7th Jan Hey everyone, I’ve done it. My first week of atleast 30 minutes of exercise daily.
Day 6
Monday 6th Jan Today the weathers been equally as bad as yesterday but I got up and went out early for a walk with Teddy. Legs are easing up but still aching! Hope to get on the treadmill early tomorrow morning 🤞 Share
Day 5
Monday 6th Jan Today wasn’t so great outside and because I was aching so much from Saturdays boot camp I had a quick 20 minute brisk walk. Felt great to stretch my legs but didn’t want to push it too much! Share
Day 4
Saturday 4th Jan Boot camp! This mornings activity was an hour long boot camp with AsFit. The session is a mixture of cardio/strength training through a circuit system. Thoroughly enjoyed it and was a great start to the day to motivate me.
Day 3
Saturday 4th Jan Was a chilly start to the morning and I knew I was out in the evening so I decided to go for a walk with my little boy. We had a 45 minute brisk walk around the town. Share
Day 2
Thursday 2nd Jan I had a busy day today and was so worried about when I’d be able to get my solid 30 minutes of exercise in but I knew I had to find time! Once I put my son to bed at 7pm, I put my running gear straight on and headed for the treadmill. Day 1 of week 2 completed on the couch to 5k! I still don’t feel it’s pushing me enough so next up I’m going to attempt day 1 of week 3. I know that will challenge me and I’m looking forward to it!
Day 1
