Thank you all so much for your donations to such a special charity. 
Unfortunately, March took quite a curve ball - involving injury, illness and death. So, I’ve delayed the challenge and will now be doing it this month instead. 
I’m determined to do it and keep to the promise, so will update as we go.

100 for 50!! In March I’m doing the 100 miles challenge for Young Lives vs Cancer

Saturday 7th Feb

As a way to both mark (and distract myself!) from the impending mid century milestone birthday, i’ve decided to do a challenge.

So, i’m taking on 100 Miles this March for Young Lives vs Cancer.

I’ll be completing 100 miles between 1st and 31st March to help raise vital funds for children and young people with cancer.

Young Lives vs Cancer help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. 

This charity has already given such incredible and essential support to more than one set of our close friends, as they navigated what lay ahead for them, so it’s only right that  I do what I can to give back. 

I’m hoping to rope in our 3 boys, where I can, to help tick off the miles with me and to keep mixing it up on how we do it. Watch this space! 

I appreciate that not everyone can give as much as they’d like but every pound really does make a difference.

* Just a £26 donation could fund an hour of support from a Young Lives vs Cancer specialist social worker ensuring children, young people and families always have someone by their side throughout their cancer journey.
