I'm running 100 miles for Young Lives vs Cancer.

I'm taking on the Run 100 Miles Challenge for Young Lives vs Cancer. I will be running and walking 100 miles in October to support children and young people with cancer.

Young Lives vs Cancer were an amazing support to our family last year when our world came crashing down around us and our boy was diagnosed with lymphoblastic lymphoma. Being put up in a Homes for Homes house while he was in intensive care and starting his treatment really was such a massive support for us.

Young Lives vs Cancer help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. Make a donation and show your support today.

  • £20 could pay for a coat for a child or young person with cancer, to help keep them warm through the winter months when they really feel the cold due to treatment
  • £60 could pay for a night in a Young Lives vs Cancer Homes from Home, a free place for families to stay close to specialist hospitals when their child is going through treatment, keeping families together

Join me in supporting a good cause, your contribution will make a big impact, whether you donate £5 or £500. Every little bit helps. Thank you for your support.

My Updates

Why?

Monday 7th Oct
It has been nearly a year since our beautiful boy was diagnosed with lymphoblastic lymphoma just before his 3rd birthday. Young Lives vs Cancer was a charity I admit I didn't even know existed until we really needed them. They gave us accommodation in Bristol so we could be there for Hugo while he was in intensive care and when he was later started on his first round of intensive chemotherapy.
So a year on, Hugo is still with us and now in his maintenance phase of chemotherapy with another 18 months ahead of us, this is my time to give back.
Any support you can offer this charity would be gratefully recieved. No one ever expects to hear the words that your baby has Cancer, and this charity really made those first few weeks manageable.
