Children and young people with cancer are facing a hard winter. Instead of making precious memories with their family, treatment means that they’re facing weeks spent many miles from home.
But cancer doesn’t have to mean families are torn apart. That special moments are lost. You can keep families together this winter.
£26 could pay for an hour of support from a Young Lives vs Cancer social worker, so that children and young people with cancer, and their families, get the right care and support at the right time
£70 could pay for a night in a Young Lives vs Cancer Homes from Home, a free place for families to stay close to specialist hospitals when their child is going through treatment, keeping families together

Cold Water Dip
Thursday 8th JanOn the 4th of Feb I’m taking part in a cold water dip to raise money for Young Lives v Cancer, and I’m doing it for my sister, Rosie.
Cancer has a way of changing everything. It doesn’t just affect the person receiving the diagnosis it affects family, friends, and everyone who loves them. Watching someone you love face cancer teaches you about strength, vulnerability, fear, and hope, all at the same time.
Rosie is one of the strongest people I know. She shows up with courage even on the days when things are hard, unfair, or exhausting. This cold water dip is my small way of standing beside her and raising money for a cause important to us. Any donation no matter how small is much appreciated! Thank you from the bottom of my (soon to be cold) heart 💛
