We have smashed our fundraising target but we still have up to Sept. 15 to raise even more funds!

We have smashed our fundraising target of £300 with £433 of donations (Including Instagram campaign but not including Gift Aid yet) from our generous sponsors/donors! Many thanks to all who have donated, supported us, attended our two Tennis-a-Thons at Feltham Park Tennis Courts as well as bought the little trinkets that we had made to sell (all proceeds going to @younglivesforcancer).
The fundraiser closes on Sept. 15 so let’s keep on donating and raising funds to help children with cancer!

Just wanted to put links of all the FB Live videos from Mayumi's 2nd Tennis-a-thon held on the 26th August '24 at Feltham Park with her friends in one post so that we can all relive the shaky video mess and all the fun that we had!
To recap what happened, Mayumi's friends Tabitha, Arleen and Janielle (Arleen's little friend) as well as their family, came to support Mayumi's 2nd Tennis-a-thon! The kids were able to have mini tennis lessons again, first with hitting practice with Coach Daddy Rhett's tennis ball machine, and then with another round of Queen of the Court!
Then Mayumi and Coach Daddy Rhett attempted another Rally Challenge, with all their supporters counting each shot. Their target for the day was 30 shots, because in the rally challenge with Miriam the week before they were able to do 22 shots in windy conditions. With Mayumi's tennis Coach Roger she was able to do 39 shots during lessons. But they were able to reach an amazing 49 shots! (And it was Coach Daddy Rhett who actually "dropped the ball" for the 50th shot!) Well done to our little Tennis-a-thon kids! And all the adults who also came to support.

We are very close to hitting our fundraising target of £300 already thanks to our generous donors/sponsors here in the UK and abroad! But it would be even more awesome if we could smash our target!

Kids can also have a mini tennis lesson with Coach Mayu. As Miriam can’t make it tomorrow, Mayumi will attempt to hit her rally challenge target with Coach Daddy Rhett instead. Mayumi and I have also made some more keychains for those who are interested - all proceeds will go towards the fundraiser!

Our next Tennis-a-thon will be on Monday, 26th August, 2-3 pm (TBC) also at Feltham Park Tennis Courts (Hounslow Rd, Feltham TW14 9DN). If anyone wants to have a go at playing tennis (especially kids) we have tennis rackets and balls already but please feel free to bring your own!

Launching our Tennis-A-Thon Challenge at Feltham Fete last 10th August 2024

We are planning to organise one or 2 mini Tennis-a-Thons 🎾 at Feltham Park Tennis Courts, (dates TBC 3rd and/or 4th week August) where kids (or grown-ups) can attempt to set their own personal “Rally Records” playing with Mayumi or vs her daddy Rhett.
