If you see me walking, it really is me!!

Hard to believe I know and those who know me will realise what a challenge this will be for me.
I'm taking on the Walk 100 Miles in May Challenge for Young Lives vs Cancer.
Over the last year as an adult I have been living with the horrible, scary thing that is cancer.
This hateful disease brings with it horrible treatments, nasty side effects, anxiety, fear and uncertainty.
Facing all this as an adult is bad enough but I can't imagine facing it as a child or a young person who should be having fun, enjoying life and looking forward.
Also the strain and worry on the young person's family must be enormous.
Young Lives vs Cancer help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer.
Make a donation and show your support today. Your donation will help with the following obstacles these families face whilst trying to support their young person.
- Travel costs for long journeys to live saving treatment
- An hour with a Young Lives vs Cancer Specialist Social Worker. They help families understand and cope with the emotional, practical and financial effects of cancer.
- A night in a Young Lives vs Cancer Homes from Home, a free place for families to stay close to specialist hospitals when their child is going through treatment, keeping families together
Join me in supporting a good cause, your contribution will make a big impact, whether you donate £5 or £500.
Every little bit helps.
Thank you for your support.
