My Reason Why

I am choosing to support young lives affected by cancer because of the heartbreaking reality of late diagnoses and the growing number of young people facing this illness. It feels deeply unfair that so many young souls must endure such pain so early in life.

By coming together as a community and fundraising, we can help ensure that young people receive the right care at the right time — before it is too late. Early diagnosis, proper treatment, and strong support systems can truly save lives.

As people of faith, we trust that our Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, walks with us through every trial. We believe that He does not take just anyone home lightly, but welcomes the pure, the righteous, and the loving souls into eternal peace. While we grieve the loss of those we love, we can also find comfort in knowing that their pain and struggles have faded, and they are now at peace with our Father.

God works in mysterious and loving ways. Sometimes He heals the sick here on earth because their journey is not yet complete — He still has a purpose for them. And when the day of judgment comes, He will welcome those pure and loving souls, and those who have sincerely sought forgiveness, back home to Him.

Until that time, we must continue to fight for life, support one another, and show compassion. Supporting young cancer patients is one way we can be the hands and heart of God here on earth.
