We're taking on the Kid's Spring Challenge for Young Lives vs Cancer.

Young Lives vs Cancer help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. Make a donation and show your support today. 

  • £15 could go towards a grant to cover travel costs for long journeys to live saving treatment 
  • £23 could pay for an hour with a Young Lives vs Cancer Specialist Social Worker. They help families understand and cope with the emotional, practical and financial effects of cancer. 
  • £60 could pay for a night in a Young Lives vs Cancer Homes from Home, a free place for families to stay close to specialist hospitals when their child is going through treatment, keeping families together

Alizah covered a mile during her football match in which her team won 3-2!

Thursday 10th Apr
On a warm sunny day with temperatures hitting near tropical levels at 18 degrees! We decided to run around the local football pitch. A total of 6 laps bought us just over 1 mile. We had time for a kick about with some kids playing football.

Alizah once again leading the way. Zaynab debuted her new running trainers to help with ankle support. Her trainers are red, white and black, the colours of her football team, Manchester United.

Zaynab’s ankle started to hurt mid run. But we still completed a mile by walking rest of the distance.

Fundraiser for young adults and children with Cancer

Tuesday 11th Mar
My girls Alizah and Zaynab aged 9 and 7 will be running a mile everyday for 14 days during April to support young adults and children with Cancer. Each run will be tracked via their Garmin smartwatch. Every donation, no matter how small is appreciated for this cause.
