Want to join us in supporting a good cause? We're taking on the Kid's Summer Challenge for Young Lives vs Cancer and your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate £5 or £500. Every little bit helps. Thank you for your support.
Young Lives vs Cancer help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. Make a donation and show your support today.
- £15 could go towards a grant to cover travel costs for long journeys to live saving treatment
- £26 could pay for an hour with a Young Lives vs Cancer Specialist Social Worker. They help families understand and cope with the emotional, practical and financial effects of cancer.
- £70 could pay for a night in a Young Lives vs Cancer Homes from Home, a free place for families to stay close to specialist hospitals when their child is going through treatment, keeping families together

Sailing Miles
Tuesday 12th Aug Hey Peeps. Just to mention that the girls are doing lots of sailing and swimming to hit their goals, as well as walking - did 20 lengths in a pool this morning and sailing later. Thanks for the sponsorship, they super appreciate it! Thank you! Izzy and Rom! Share
Sail, Skate and Wander Day!
Friday 8th Aug Izzy nailed her mile sailing in the regatta. Rom and I did a 1 mile wandering around Salcombe and then she did a whole heap of skateboarding... Pretty active day by all accounts! Go girls! Share

Day 3
Monday 4th Aug Day 3. Izzy did a big regatta sail followed by 2 miles of walking in the afternoon AND a sea swim! Rom and I clocked our 1.7 official miles but ended the day on 17k steps together, just a lot of forgetting to set the watch off! Done! Zzz Share

Day 2
Saturday 2nd Aug Easily over a mile sailing, following by an almost two mile walk/run (mostly running). Go girls! Share

The Why
Thursday 31st Jul It's the summer holidays, and whilst we're larking around having fun, we thought it might be nice to try to raise some funds for a charity whilst we go about our lives. We saw the Young Lives vs Cancer campaign and thought we'd join in, a minimum of 1 mile a day, walk, run, cycle, ride or perhaps sailed?!
Whilst we do a mile some days with ease (our weekends are well lived), in other days finding the time for even a mile is tough, so this is still a commitment for us to ensure we all do a mile every day, some days together, some days as a tag team, depending on what we all have on - but we commit to getting our mile a day each!
Getting it done for those less fortunate than ourselves.
