I'm completing 1500 squats in November for Young Lives vs Cancer

I'm taking on the 1500 Squats in November Challenge for Young Lives vs Cancer to support children and young people with cancer.

Young Lives vs Cancer help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. Make a donation and show your support today.

£20 could pay for a coat for a child or young person with cancer, to help keep them warm through the winter months when they really feel the cold due to treatment

£60 could pay for a night in a Young Lives vs Cancer Homes from Home, a free place for families to stay close to specialist hospitals when their child is going through treatment, keeping families together

Join me in supporting a good cause, your contribution will make a big impact, whether you donate £5 or £500. Every little bit helps.

We’ll face it all together – but we can’t do it without you. Thank you for your support.

Leo's Legacy

Thursday 17th Oct
Losing our 2-year-old son, Leo, in January 2024, to a Group 3 MYC Positive Medulloblastoma has been an unimaginable heartbreak. Six days—just six days after his diagnosis—our world shattered. The tumour was aggressive, and there were no options. Radiotherapy wasn’t possible for someone so young, and chemotherapy would have been futile.

Leo was full of life, joy, and mischief, and watching that slip away so quickly felt like drowning. Those six days were a blur of hospitals, decisions, and helplessness.

Amid the chaos, Young Lives vs Cancer was a light. They provided support and compassion when we needed it most, helping us navigate through the unimaginable. Their guidance, both practical and emotional, eased some of the burden in the darkest time of our lives.

While nothing will ever fill the void Leo left, we are forever grateful for the care and kindness we received.
