I’m walking 60 Miles in November for Young Lives vs Cancer.

I’ll be walking 60 Miles in November, from the 1st to the 30th, to help raise vital funds for children and young people with cancer.

Young Lives vs Cancer help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. With practical and emotional support. With someone always there. A social worker that gets it.
With places to stay near hospitals. With campaigning to make health, welfare and social care work better. To champion, to problem solve and bring about change. 

Every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. Make a donation and show your support today.

Just a £26 donation could fund an hour of support from a Young Lives vs Cancer specialist social worker, ensuring children, young people and families always have someone by their side throughout their cancer journey.

I need YOUR help with Yong Lives Vs Cancer

Trigger WARNING: Cancer, Death and Grief.

Even having been a published Author (of Poetry), I struggle to find the words to describe the ordeal of a cancer journey - from diagnosis and treatment to how life-changing it is going forward.
I have lost an older brother to Cancer, a Sister-in-law, and my older Sister to cancer. My Mother (Ma) was diagnosed with Stage 4a SCC in 2022. Ma is my HERO; she managed to “Kick Cancer's Ass” out of the stadium. My beautiful young niece was recently diagnosed with Cancer; she showed courage and valour in her journey. I am proud of her, and I love her.
I am honoured to be fundraising for Yong Lives Vs Cancer. Their work feels like a calling from above. The noble work they do allows children and young people with cancer the vital support they need to thrive.
