Siddh did his final 1 km (=0.7 mile) along the Hessle Shores under the iconic Humber Bridge. Just over 31 miles done over 31 days in August . Well done Siddh 👏

Thursday session 2: 4.8 km

Thursday 29th Aug
After lunch Siddh re-started his smartwatch step counts from zero and completed a further 4.8 km ( = 3 miles ) until dinner time. A whopping 5.1 miles covered in one day off his own merit. I can’t keep up with him 😅 Only 0.5 miles to complete his entire 31 miles in 31 days challenge, how did that happen 🤩

Siddh did a great deal of walking exploring the city and covered 3.4 km (=2.1 miles) before lunch.

Selfie #5: Siddh’s only 5.6 miles away from completing his August challenge after completing another 1.2 miles. Three days to go 😇

Tuesday 27th Aug
Selfie #4: Siddh walked/jogged 1.9 km (=1.2 miles) in the estate park today braving the gusts and drizzle like a pro 💪🏻 🤛 😎 6.8 miles to go in 4 days 👀 🤞

Selfie #3. Siddh’s getting fitter and more ambitious each day to complete his August challenge successfully. He walked a whopping 2.5 km (=1.5 miles) yesterday. Only 8 miles to go in 5 days 😇🤞

Sunday 25th Aug
Selfie No.2 😁 Siddh did a few laps of his estate walking/jogging and completed 2 km (= 1.2 miles) today despite the high winds and drizzle. That’s pure commitment 😇 He’s now done 21.5 miles in total. 9.5 miles more to go in 6 days 🤞

Siddh completed another mile in the estate 🚶‍♂️ and took a selfie to upload on his fundraising page 🤳 😁

Siddh finally recovered from his waterslide stint and completed 1.8 km today 🥳

Saturday 17th Aug
Siddh said his smart watch clocked him doing 2.2 km and 3.7 km (5.9 km = 3.7 miles) in one day (yesterday) on this water slide! I didn’t believe in him at first but he’s now frozen in bed with a full body ache so I’ll take his word for it 😄

Siddh’s back in action and completed a whopping two miles in one day at his school’s swimming pool. 13 miles completed in 13 days, we’re back on track 💪🏻 🤛 😇

Siddh squeezed in his routine 1 mile at a double birthday party in scorching hot Birmingham yesterday ☀️

Siddh did his one mile walking in the picturesque village of Swanland yesterday 😇

Back to swimming today. The photographer (me!) forgot to take a picture when Siddh had his full gear on. I also forgot his smartwatch at home 🙈 But he swam the same length as on previous occasions so I’m pretty sure he’s covered his mile. I’ll have to figure out this weekend how to link his smart watch readings to this fundraising account!

Siddh did well over 3 miles today, walking along the beautiful Bridlington beach 🏖️ ☀️ on Bridmas Day 🎄

Another 1.6 km (1 mile) walk done today in spite of a farm flies invasion in 26 degrees heat!

This boy won’t rest even on a Sunday! Just completed 1.6 km (=1 mile) on our estate 😇

Siddh felt it was tad bit daunting to do one mile a day for the entire month of August.  However, starting Day 1 of his challenge with his favourite sport, swimming, put a big smile on his face. The smartwatch will help him keep track of his distance daily. 😇
