I'm walking 100 miles for Young Lives vs Cancer.
I'm taking on the Walk 100 Miles Challenge for Young Lives vs Cancer. I will be walking 100 miles in May to support children and young people with cancer.
Young Lives vs Cancer help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. Make a donation and show your support today.
- £15 could go towards a grant to cover travel costs for long journeys to live saving treatment
- £23 could pay for an hour with a Young Lives vs Cancer Specialist Social Worker. They help families understand and cope with the emotional, practical and financial effects of cancer.
- £60 could pay for a night in a Young Lives vs Cancer Homes from Home, a free place for families to stay close to specialist hospitals when their child is going through treatment, keeping families together
Join me in supporting a good cause, your contribution will make a big impact, whether you donate £5 or £500. Every little bit helps. Thank you for your support.

Over the 90 mile mark! Almost there 😀
Tuesday 27th May Flynn lost weight. I seem to have gained it. 😆 We have raised an amazing amount for the charity and know it will all go to helping families who need it. It’s such a horrible time but to be separated and have distance to travel while dealing with everyone else at home - near impossible - so this support is so vital. Thanks everyone who donated so far! We are doing well. Thanks for your support
Tuesday 20th May My cockapoo Flynn in shock at the long walks. We’ve always had late night walks but he’s getting used to longer stretches now. Me too ! Share

10 years on from George’s treatment
Monday 28th Apr Many of you will know why this charity means so much to us. When our son was diagnosed aged 4 with AML leukaemia, we had no idea so many children were diagnosed with cancer each day in this country. 3 children on our primary school playground had been in/were in treatment. We were so lucky our child survived the harsh chemo treatment. Flynn and I are going to move in May to spread awareness and hopefully raise some money for this amazing charity.
