We're taking on the Kid's Summer Challenge for Young Lives vs Cancer.
Want to join us in supporting a good cause? We're taking on the Kid's Summer Challenge for Young Lives vs Cancer and your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate £5 or £500. Every little bit helps. Thank you for your support.
Young Lives vs Cancer help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. Make a donation and show your support today.
- £15 could go towards a grant to cover travel costs for long journeys to live saving treatment
- £26 could pay for an hour with a Young Lives vs Cancer Specialist Social Worker. They help families understand and cope with the emotional, practical and financial effects of cancer.
- £70 could pay for a night in a Young Lives vs Cancer Homes from Home, a free place for families to stay close to specialist hospitals when their child is going through treatment, keeping families together
Join me in supporting a good cause, your contribution will make a big impact, whether you donate £5 or £500. Every little bit helps. Thank you for your support.

Day 30 The Devil's kneading trough
Saturday 30th Aug We had a great walk today and stood at the top looking at a vast landscape across Kent. It was a steep descent and a windy climb back up but the views made it worth it. Just a few miles off 200 miles now! Share
End of the holidays/ meltdown time.
Wednesday 27th Aug We had a disappointing trip to Bodium today. He was really looking forward to the archery bit when we got there it was an empty tent and we were told it's an outside company so they don't know why they didn't turn up. It really has the end of holidays feel with chilyamf adults having meltdowns. It's a beautiful castle but we were pretty relieved to get home! I'm determined to give him a great trip out before the end of the Summer challenge. Share
Summer challenge from our dogs perspective
Monday 25th Aug Our pooch has been with us every step and he is tuckered out. He's been enjoying all of our adventures and snoring his head off. Share
Day 20 and 7 miles.
Wednesday 20th Aug I've not kept up with every day on here but on my Facebook page I've done every day. Today was a walk around the village and in the afternoon we went to Sandgate, got ice cream and then walked to the Royal military canal. 7 miles in total for today. Share
His target was 4 miles a day but he's smashed it!
Tuesday 19th Aug He has done over his miles every day. I will do a breakdown of each day when my phone is charged! But the 124 miles set for all of August has already been achieved. Every mile now is a bonus. Share
