Can't wait to see what the rest of my runs look like. Thank you all for your support and donations as of late. We've surpassed so many donation milestones, and I thank every one of you. Share
2 Days into March
Monday 2nd Mar Feels really good to be into the challenge. Day 2, and I am feeling super motivated. Already raising £150 is an amazing figure just 48 hours into the 31-day month. The first 2 days have been a huge success. I have pushed myself to run further than ever, work harder than ever, andIi don't look to slow down.
Just want to thank and appreciate anyone who has followed my journey, donated or supported, however small or big, it means a lot to me, and I can't wait to see how far I come at the end. Share

Why am i doing this event and my preperation just over a week out?
Friday 20th Feb If you were interested enough to find yourself reading this on my page, I feel that I should explain why I am signing myself up for this fundraiser event and what it means to me personally. I would appreciate it if you could read it all; however understood if not. I have always been an active kid, yet transitioning from school to work has taken a toll on me mentally and physically, therefore leading me to take up the gym again andintroduceg running to my fitness regime, something I haven't done before but have always been keen to try. This event seemed perfect to pop up at the right time.My aunt was a big motivator for me to participate in this event. She tragically passed away in late 2017. As a child, I learnt that she was diagnosed with cancer in her school years. With the amazing support and help from the Great Ormond Street Hospital, she managed to beat cancer, and although she battled with health problems her whole life, this event is going to be my motivation and put me through pain and tiredness, a fraction of what my aunt endured. I want to be able to achieve a more positive mindset, something I realised later in life, how much my aunt was able to mask her true feelings and pain.
My preparation has been small but building. I started the gym again to get back into lifting weights and putting my body through its paces. Running, as I mentioned, has been incorporated, as I hope this event kickstarts me into running more frequently. I have dramatically improved my diet, eating more cleanly and reducing my processed food intake and fast food cravings.
I appreciate it if you read this far, and I hope you join me on my journey. I don't expect donations, however, if we could do anything for any amazing charity such as Young Lives VS Cancer, it would mean the world to me that I have contributed towards helping others suffering with cancer from a young age. Thanks for reading.
