I'm taking on the Cycle 300km Challenge for Young Lives vs Cancer in August.
Join me in supporting a good cause and your contribution will make a big impact to children and young people with cancer.

Young Lives vs Cancer help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. Make a donation and show your support today.

  • £15 could go towards a grant to cover travel costs for long journeys to live saving treatment
  • £26 could pay for an hour with a Young Lives vs Cancer Specialist Social Worker. They help families understand and cope with the emotional, practical and financial effects of cancer.
  • £70 could pay for a night in a Young Lives vs Cancer Homes from Home, a free place for families to stay close to specialist hospitals when their child is going through treatment, keeping families together.

7th ride – 300km for Young Lives vs Cancer 🚴‍♂️

Monday 1st Sep
Yesterday I completed my final ride, crossing the finish line of my 300km challenge for Young Lives vs Cancer.

I set out on this journey for my brother — my hero — who I held in my arms as he took his last breath, fighting a battle no one should ever have to fight. Every pedal stroke, every drop of sweat, was for him. For his memory. For his courage.

And as I came to the end today, I realised something that hit me deeper than I can ever describe… I finished on his birthday. I didn’t plan it. I didn’t even notice until after. It was as if he was with me all along, guiding me to this moment, reminding me that love doesn’t end when life does.

This ride wasn’t just about distance. It was about grief, healing, and keeping his spirit alive. The miles may be complete, but my journey with him will never be.

Happy birthday, brother. This one was for you. ❤️

4th ride of 300km August challenge for Young Lives vs Cancer

Saturday 16th Aug
After more than a week away from the road—first with bike mechanical issues, then going through two medical procedures—I finally managed to get back on the saddle today. 49.5 km completed, marking my 4th ride of the 300km August challenge for Young Lives vs Cancer.

This one felt different. The legs were heavy, the body slower, but every kilometre carried a reminder of why I’m doing this. The struggles I faced this past week are nothing compared to the battles young people with cancer go through every single day.

This ride wasn’t just about getting closer to 300km—it was about resilience, gratitude, and never taking the chance to keep moving forward for granted. One ride closer, one ride stronger. 💜

This ride is for him.
For them.
For every young life that deserves hope.

Please support by hitting the link in my bio and donating as much as you can 💜

Ride 3 done ✅ | 300km in August for Young Lives vs Cancer 💜🚴‍♂️

Thursday 7th Aug
Every kilometre I ride is for the children and young people facing cancer — so they never have to go through it alone. That’s the real power behind this challenge. Not speed or strength, but purpose.

And when it gets hard — when I’m struggling — I feel him.
My brother.
He lost his battle with cancer, but I know he’s still with me.
Pushing me.
Reminding me why this matters.

This ride is for him.
For them.
For every young life that deserves hope.

✅ Distance today: 30.63 km
📊 Total so far: 99.43 km / 300 km
🎯 Target: 300 km this August to raise awareness and funds 💪

Sunday 3rd Aug
Another ride in the bag—and every kilometre is for a cause that matters. Just finished my second ride for the 300Km August Challenge, riding to support Young Lives vs Cancer.

This isn’t just about fitness or distance. It’s about standing up for young people facing one of life’s toughest battles. Every turn of the pedal is a step toward hope, strength, and support for those who need it most.

✅ Distance today:  35.11 km
📊 Total so far: 68.8 km / 300 km
🎯 Target: 300 km this August to raise awareness and funds 💪

Big thanks to everyone who’s supporting, donating, or cheering from the sidelines. Every bit helps. Let’s keep going, one ride at a time! 💜🚴‍♂️

Does not take a lot to share your kindness

Sunday 20th Jul
Hello everyone,
I'm truly looking forward to this 300km cycling fundraising challenge — it means the world to me. I lost my younger brother to cancer, and not a day goes by that I don’t think of him.

I’m doing this in his memory, and to support young people who are still fighting this brutal disease. With all my heart, I will give 100% to this challenge. Every kilometre I ride is for him — and for hope. 💛🚴‍♂️

Every two hours, another child or young person will hear the news that they have cancer.

In less than a minute, you can help Young Lives vs Cancer be there from day one, so no child or young person faces their cancer diagnosis alone.
