My target 100 mi

I'm walking 100 miles for Young Lives vs Cancer.

I'm taking on the Walk 100 Miles Challenge for Young Lives vs Cancer. I will be walking 100 miles in May to support children and young people with cancer.

Young Lives vs Cancer help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. Make a donation and show your support today.

  • £15 could go towards a grant to cover travel costs for long journeys to live saving treatment
  • £23 could pay for an hour with a Young Lives vs Cancer Specialist Social Worker. They help families understand and cope with the emotional, practical and financial effects of cancer.
  • £60 could pay for a night in a Young Lives vs Cancer Homes from Home, a free place for families to stay close to specialist hospitals when their child is going through treatment, keeping families together

Join me in supporting a good cause, your contribution will make a big impact, whether you donate £5 or £500. Every little bit helps. Thank you for your support.

Been feeding the parents on my walks and got a lovely surprise when they brought their babies to meet me

Memory of poppi

Thursday 15th May
The reason I'm doing this challenge is that a year ago on February 2nd our pops lost her battle with a rare and aggressive type of cancer called Ewing sarcoma. She was a fun, mischievous, sassy, 12 year old with a heart of gold 💛 She was diagnosed at age 11 after Dr's found a large tumour on her pelvis and sadly it was at stage 4. She underwent 3 1/2 years of chemo and radiotherapy in 9 months and was treated at addenbrookes hospital. Young lives vs cancer have provided my family with vital support allowing us to make the most of what little time we had left. She passed away at Milton children's hospice in Cambridge who also took really good care of us all. Miss you bumblebee, till we meet again baby girl. #Forever12
